Senior Java Full Stack Developer, Angular & React
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of full-stack features for a long-term client engagement in Maryland, wielding Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and React or Angular to shape enterprise microservices. You'll work onsite near Washington, D.C., joining a tight-knit team where your decisions on architecture and APIs drive real impact. This role suits a senior engineer who wants to lead technical design across the stack without losing hands-on coding time.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build end-to-end features using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and React or Angular, from database schema to UI component.
- 2Design and deploy microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Security, enforcing OAuth2 and JWT patterns.
- 3Integrate RESTful APIs with Hibernate/JPA, mapping complex relational data to Java objects.
- 4Ship responsive UI updates in React or Angular, using state management and component lifecycle.
- 5Optimize SQL queries for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and tune MongoDB collections for read-heavy workloads.
- 6Debug production incidents across the stack, using logging and monitoring tools to trace failures.
- 7Collaborate with product and QA to refine acceptance criteria and deliver shippable increments.
- 8Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on Java best practices and microservices patterns.
Requirements7
- 110+ years of hands-on Java development, with Java 8/11/17 mandatory.
- 25+ years building microservices with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- 35+ years working with Angular and React simultaneously, with deep knowledge of componentization and state.
- 4Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with Hibernate/JPA.
- 5Strong SQL skills across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- 6Hands-on MongoDB experience for document storage and aggregation.
- 7Willing to work strictly on W2 basis and work onsite/hybrid in Maryland.
