Java Fullstack Developer, Spring Boot & Angular
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of enterprise-grade full stack features for a government client in Washington, DC. You will work onsite with a Scrum team, building Java, Spring Boot, and Angular applications. You will pair with backend and frontend engineers to ship RESTful APIs and modern UI components. This role demands 8+ years of hands-on development and a proven track record in Agile delivery.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and ship RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and Java that power core business workflows.
- 2Design and implement responsive UI components in Angular, following modern patterns and best practices.
- 3Integrate MongoDB and relational databases into the application data layer, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- 4Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate requirements into technical design documents.
- 5Write and maintain unit and integration tests, driving code quality through continuous integration.
- 6Debug and resolve production issues, tracing root causes across the full stack.
- 7Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements7
- 18+ years designing, developing, and testing enterprise-grade software in an Agile environment.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 3Strong expertise in Java and building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.
- 4Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
- 5Front-end development experience with Angular and modern UI patterns.
- 6Hands-on experience with modern build tools and version control systems.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC and obtain a public trust clearance.
