Overview
You will own the user-facing components of the Shield ecosystem, building responsive web apps that bring zero-knowledge applications to life. You'll join a team of 5 frontend and backend engineers, collaborating with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to deliver interfaces used by developers and contributors. What You'll Do7
- 1Design, build, and maintain user-facing components with React and Next.js, ensuring high performance and visual appeal.
- 2Integrate APIs with backend engineers using TypeScript, aligning frontend logic with server-side systems.
- 3Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, proposing and implementing solutions that boost user experience.
- 4Ship production-quality code across the full product lifecycle, from concept to deployment and optimization.
- 5Write clean, tested code that sets a quality benchmark for the team.
- 6Iterate quickly on products, embracing a learn-by-doing approach.
- 7Flag UX improvements that enhance user engagement, based on UX design principles.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years with TypeScript.
- 2Proven experience building scalable web apps with React and Next.js.
- 3Solid foundation in blockchain concepts and experience with a blockchain project.
- 4Familiarity with UX design principles and a willingness to flag enhancements.
- 5Ability to build high-performance web applications from scratch.
- 6Degree in Computer Science or background in low-level systems programming and distributed systems design.
- 7Excellent communication and documentation skills.
