Owns electrical architecture for multi market products at scale across consumer, medical, space, and industrial domains. Collaborates with multi disciplinary teams and may support sales efforts during bids. Provides cradle to grave ownership of hardware designs from concept through debug and delivery. The role emphasizes design reviews, hands on implementation, and a mix of on site collaboration and occasional travel to customer sites.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Design hardware architectures, power budgets, block diagrams, schematics, and PCBs and own the end to end development from layout to verification
  • 2Lead bring up, debugging, documentation, and design reviews to ensure robust electronics for diverse markets
  • 3Collaborate with other disciplines and senior team members to deliver electrical designs on time and to spec
  • 4Support sales efforts by scoping projects and participating in customer visits to discuss capabilities
  • 5Travel to customer sites for project kickoffs, deliveries, and on site validations as needed

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 27+ years of experience in design and layout of embedded hardware
  • 3Experience with microcontrollers, processors and FPGAs in embedded systems
  • 4Knowledge of high speed channels and EMI/EMC analysis
  • 5Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers
  • 6Experience with DC/DC converters and various topologies
  • 7Experience with interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, LVDS, PCIe
  • 8Understanding of controlled impedance, RF technologies, SerDes, 10GbE, 802.11
  • 9Ability to work onsite in Westminster, CO
  • 10US Persons only due to contractor requirements
