Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS Cloud & Deployments
Overview
AWS cloud infrastructure design and deployment at scale for dealer and consumer platforms. Own reliable pipelines, observability, and operational excellence across services on AWS. Collaborate with application engineers to automate and streamline deployments while ensuring production readiness. This role emphasizes hands-on automation, strong logging and monitoring, and production support.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines on AWS to support dealer and consumer platforms
- 2Design observability strategies including logging, metrics, and tracing to ensure reliability and quick issue detection
- 3Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate release cycles while preserving stability
- 4Collaborate with application engineers to ensure production readiness and smooth handoffs to operations
- 5Operate with strong security and compliance practices across cloud resources and deployments
- 6Lead incident response and postmortem analyses to drive continuous improvement
- 7Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using industry standards
- 8Optimize resource usage and cost through monitoring and right sizing
- 9Document architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for on-call support

- 1Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on AWS deployment experience
- 2Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and production support on cloud platforms
- 3Proven ability to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- 4Strong automation mindset with experience in CI/CD, IaC, and release management
- 5Effective collaboration with application engineers and on-call ownership
- 6Knowledge of security and compliance practices in cloud environments
- 7Ability to operate in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple priorities
- 8Excellent troubleshooting and incident response skills
- 9US Citizen required for this role
- 10Onsite role in Dallas, Texas, contract position
