Overview
Lead technical direction for enterprise security solutions at Tri-State, defining architecture and standards for firewalls SIEM IDS and other security platforms. What You'll Do11
- 1Set technical direction and define standards for enterprise security platforms including firewalls SIEM and intrusion detection systems.
- 2Evaluate and lead adoption of new security technologies to advance security posture.
- 3Own enterprise risk management oversee risk register and present mitigation plans to senior leadership.
- 4Serve as backup incident lead directing containment and coordinate response across teams during major security incidents.
- 5Drive post-incident reviews and implement program-wide improvements to detection response and prevention.
- 6Define and lead threat hunting detection engineering and adversary tracking strategies.
- 7Establish security processes control frameworks and documentation while driving continuous improvement across the enterprise.
- 8Provide strategic direction for vulnerability management and third-party risk assessments.
- 9Advise on compliance strategy including NERC CIP and SOX regulations.
- 10Mentor and develop cybersecurity engineers at all levels establishing best practices and fostering knowledge sharing.
- 11Partner with enterprise leaders to build support for cyber asset data collection and management.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2Eight or more years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with expert-level knowledge of security architecture and operational support.
- 3Deep expertise across security technologies including firewall antivirus IDS SIEM vulnerability scanning and data loss prevention.
- 4Recognized expertise leading incident forensic response planning and execution as backup incident lead.
- 5Extensive experience designing security processes control frameworks and standards with background in SCADA and industrial control systems.
- 6Advanced proficiency with scripting languages such as Python JavaScript or Scapy.
- 7Demonstrated ability to set technical direction lead enterprise initiatives and mentor engineers.
- 8Strong executive communication skills presenting to senior leadership and willingness to travel up to 10 percent for investigations.
- 9Experience with CIS CISA or GIAC certifications or ability to obtain within agreed timeframe.
- 10Knowledge of NERC CIP SOX and CIS security controls frameworks and ability to interpret and apply them.
- 11Track record of creative problem solving and desire to build new processes and standards.
