What You'll Do11
- 1Design and maintain software-based security solutions tools and automation for vulnerability management detection response and compliance
- 2Write production quality code in Python PowerShell Java Go C# JavaScript or similar to automate security operations data analysis and reporting
- 3Perform hands-on development and scripting to integrate security platforms using APIs webhooks SDKs and cloud-native services
- 4Build custom security tooling dashboards parsers and workflows for real-time monitoring and analytics
- 5Conduct technical analysis of security telemetry and large datasets leveraging code and automation rather than manual processes
- 6Engineer solutions for endpoint email vulnerability identity and cloud security including tuning automation and platform integrations
- 7Research prototype and implement new security technologies with emphasis on technical feasibility and scalability
- 8Provide technical incident response support including forensic analysis scripting and tool development during investigations
- 9Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to embed secure-by-design principles into applications services and infrastructure
- 10Stay current with modern attack techniques software vulnerabilities and defensive engineering patterns translating knowledge into code and tooling
- 11Maintain and enhance existing security systems through continuous improvement and proactive optimization

- 2Certifications and Licenses
- 3Years of Experience 2-4 years of experience
- 4Core Competencies Service-Oriented Curiosity Collaboration Adaptability
- 5Technical/Engineering Focus 2-4+ years of hands-on engineering or software development experience preferably in cybersecurity cloud or high-technology environments
- 6Demonstrated experience working in engineering-driven organizations such as technology companies SaaS cloud-native or high-tech enterprises
- 7Strong hands-on coding and development skills with one or more modern programming or scripting languages
- 8Proven ability to work hands-on-keyboard writing debugging testing and maintaining code
- 9Experience building or integrating software APIs microservices automation frameworks or cloud-native services
- 10Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals data structures APIs version control CI/CD concepts testing
- 11Experience automating security processes rather than managing them manually
- 12Understanding of application and web security including OWASP Top 10 and secure development practices
- 13Ability to analyze complex technical problems and engineer practical solutions through code
- 14Additional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them through hands-on implementation effective written and verbal communication skills
