The Senior Collateral Analyst leads daily collateral activity for ISDA GMRA/MRA and MSFTA agreements. This role drives efficiency improvements and resolves complex issues within a fast‑paced environment. It differs by focusing on OTC derivatives and providing direct client interaction.
What You'll Do11
- 1Calculate, issue, and respond to margin calls for OTC derivatives & MSFTA products
- 2Process cash and non‑cash collateral movements and lifecycle events accurately
- 3Monitor settlement and reconcile discrepancies
- 4Maintain documentation and procedures to act as a risk steward
- 5Identify automation opportunities to strengthen efficiency
- 6Serve as subject‑matter resource for internal and external stakeholders
- 7Participate in industry groups to assess regulatory changes
- 8Collaborate with brokers and counterparties to resolve issues
- 9Support regulatory compliance for uncleared margin rules
- 10Drive workflow and reporting enhancements
- 11Escalate matters and propose solutions
Requirements11
- 1Undergraduate degree with strong academic record
- 24+ years experience in collateral management
- 3Strong understanding of OTC derivatives products
- 4Experience with ISDA GMRA/MRA and MSFTA agreements
- 5Technical proficiency in Excel
- 6Analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities
- 7Ability to work in a fast‑paced high‑volume environment
- 8Willingness to escalate and propose solutions
- 9Comfort with Python and SQL preferred
- 10Experience with Calypso Collateral, TriOptima, Acadia preferred
- 11Experience with agentic applications a plus
