Overview
Vitalief seeks a Senior Clinical Trials Budget Analyst to lead budgeting for industry-sponsored studies. This role drives financial performance through meticulous budget development and compliance. You will partner with AMCs and health systems to ensure accurate billing and revenue capture.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and finalize clinical trial budgets for oncology and non-oncology studies
- 2Perform Medicare Coverage Analyses to differentiate routine care from research costs
- 3Configure and maintain study calendars budgets and billing grids in OnCore
- 4Support study start-up with accurate budget setup and billing designations
- 5Lead budget negotiations with sponsors and CROs to secure fair market value
- 6Partner with investigators and finance teams to validate assumptions and resolve discrepancies
- 7Conduct ongoing budget tracking reconciliation and variance analysis
- 8Identify and mitigate billing compliance risks following CMS FDA NIH policies
- 9Standardize and improve budgeting workflows and templates
- 10Provide hands-on support across multiple client engagements
- 11Manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality results
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
- 23 to 5+ years of clinical trial budgeting experience in academic medical centers or health systems
- 3Strong expertise in Medicare Coverage Analysis and clinical trial billing compliance
- 4OnCore CTMS experience preferred
- 5Proven budget negotiation skills with sponsors and CROs
- 6Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- 7Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- 8Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines in fast-paced environment
- 9Knowledge of clinical trial financial lifecycle management
- 10Familiarity with research billing workflows in academic medical centers
- 11Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
