Senior Civil Water Resources Engineer - Green Stormwater Infrastructure

What You'll Do11
- 1Develop civil and water resources engineering plans for municipal stormwater drainage and green infrastructure projects
- 2Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to evaluate stormwater capacity and quality improvements
- 3Prepare construction documents and technical specifications for design and implementation phases
- 4Support NPDES permit compliance and MRP documentation for municipal clients
- 5Conduct field investigations on drainage facilities and stormwater management systems
- 6Coordinate with stakeholders to manage project scope schedule and budgets
- 7Drive feasibility studies for grant-funded stormwater quality improvement projects
- 8Manage construction monitoring and health safety planning for project sites
- 9Assist with SWPPP construction monitoring and long-term performance strategies
- 10Drive project delivery from planning through design and implementation
- 11Travel to client locations as needed to support fieldwork and project execution
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with 5+ years experience in water resources engineering
- 2Proven experience designing green stormwater infrastructure and low impact development projects
- 3Advanced degree preferred along with professional licensure such as P.E. or equivalent
- 4Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools like EPA-SWMM HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS
- 5Familiarity with stormwater regulations NPDES permitting and California stormwater control requirements
- 6Strong project management skills including budgeting scheduling and multi-tasking
- 7Ability to thrive in fast-paced consulting environment with travel requirements
- 8Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software
- 9Demonstrated success in grant-funded environmental projects
- 10Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- 11Valid driver’s license with clean record for business travel
