Senior Chinese Language Specialist
Overview
Core4ce seeks a highly experienced Senior Chinese Language Analyst to support U.S. Cyber Command in a mission-focused intelligence role requiring native-level Chinese language expertise and deep understanding of Chinese geopolitical economic and socio-cultural dynamics. The ideal candidate possesses strong HUMINT and target analysis experience exceptional translation and analytic writing skills and ability to provide direct cultural and linguistic support to CI/HUMINT operations. This position requires sophisticated understanding of Chinese actors networks and information environments to support intelligence analysis and operational planning across the cyber and national security mission space.
What You'll Do9
- 1Serve as a native-level Chinese Mandarin Cantonese language specialist delivering precise reading writing and spoken communication across all intelligence products
- 2Provide nuanced cultural analysis of Chinese geopolitical economic and social dynamics to inform operational and strategic decision-making
- 3Produce accurate meaning-preserving translations of transcripts video and audio materials Chinese English
- 4Design and recommend innovative methods for target language research and information exploitation
- 5Determine the most effective formats and channels for presenting and disseminating finished intelligence products
- 6Collaborate with analysts and collectors to sharpen collection strategies and reporting requirements
- 7Support Joint Task Force operations under USCYBERCOM J2X
- 8Produce polished intelligence products and briefings for operational and senior leadership audiences
- 9Scale surge and contingency operations requiring rapid linguistic and cultural analysis
Requirements16
- 1Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience 12 years total
- 21 2 years of relevant experience including work within the last 2 years
- 3Active TS/SCI clearance with current Counterintelligence scope polygraph
- 4U.S. citizenship required
- 5Native-level Chinese proficiency first or second generation fluency with current vernacular colloquialisms and terminology
- 6Level 4 in speaking reading and writing in Chinese
- 7Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- 8World knowledge of HUMINT collection cultural analysis and IC DoD classification guidelines
- 9Demonstrated ability to produce accurate translations and polished intelligence products in Microsoft Office formats
- 10Experience supporting intelligence analysis target research or CI/HUMINT operations involving Chinese actors or networks
- 11Referral qualifications academic or professional background in Chinese regional studies political science or cultural analysis
- 12Hands-on experience with HUMINT collection operations or CI/HUMINT language analysis
- 13Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms technical terminology and evolving colloquialisms
- 14Knowledge of Chinese military doctrine cyber capabilities and intelligence services PLA MSS MPS
- 15Flexibility for on-call surge support with short-notice availability during contingency operations
- 16Experience supporting USCYBERCOM NSA DIA or other Intelligence Community organizations
