Deliver Chinese language training to adult learners at CACI, tailoring courses to client needs and learning styles. What You'll Do8

  • 1Deliver Chinese language training using Government-provided documentation and interactive synchronous and asynchronous activities.
  • 2Customize teaching approaches to match student learning styles and strategies.
  • 3Teach ISO-Immersions and supplement instruction with authentic materials.
  • 4Operate as a teaching team member, collaborating with course developers, curriculum managers, and other instructors.
  • 5Integrate basic classroom technology including Microsoft Office, SmartBoard/Symposium, Blackboard, Microsoft Teams, and camera equipment.
  • 6Provide constructive feedback on student progress to the Government.
  • 7Align all learning assessments with unit, topic, and course objectives.
  • 8Adapt materials and methods for adult learners in a language training environment.

Requirements6

  • 1Ability to pass security vetting; onsite instruction is mandatory.
  • 2B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution, or 4+ years of directly related experience.
  • 3Minimum ILR proficiency level 2 in English and level 4 in your native language for reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • 4Minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in the target language (Chinese) and level 4 in English, documented within the last 3 years.
  • 55 years of experience teaching adult language education and methodology.
  • 66 months of experience using language fonts, keyboards, and language training software.
