Senior Business Systems Analyst Distribution Center Automation
Overview
McKesson seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead distribution center automation initiatives. This role drives technology solutions that enhance goods movement through distribution centers. The ideal candidate partners with operations and technology teams to translate business needs into system requirements and ensure automation solutions are thoroughly tested and deployed.
What You'll Do11
- 1Partner with distribution center operations and technology stakeholders to understand business processes and automation needs
- 2Translate business priorities into functional technical and integration requirements
- 3Document current state and future state workflows for automation-enabled distribution center processes
- 4Collaborate with architecture engineering security and product teams to align solutions with enterprise standards
- 5Support system and integration design discussions for automation platforms and warehouse systems
- 6Own and coordinate end-to-end testing activities including test planning scenario development and defect tracking
- 7Assess deployment impacts identify risks and partner with stakeholders to minimize operational disruption
- 8Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency quality scalability and user adoption
- 9Facilitate workshops resolve ambiguity and align stakeholders on business and technical outcomes
- 10Create test plans UAT documentation and defect documentation
- 11Work across operations business and technical teams to deliver technology solutions
Requirements12
- 17+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst Business Systems Analyst Supply Chain Systems Analyst Warehouse Systems Analyst or similar role
- 2Experience supporting technology solutions in distribution center warehouse logistics supply chain or fulfillment environments
- 3Experience gathering documenting and managing business functional and technical requirements
- 4Understanding of system integration concepts process flows data flows and end-to-end solution testing
- 5Experience creating test plans test scenarios UAT documentation and defect documentation
- 6Strong communication skills with experience working across operations business and technical teams
- 7Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 8Experience with distribution center automation warehouse automation robotics conveyor systems sortation WMS WES WCS or related platforms
- 9Understanding of automation architecture integration patterns APIs middleware and enterprise system connectivity
- 10Experience working in Agile product delivery or large-scale technology implementation environments
- 11Ability to facilitate workshops resolve ambiguity and align stakeholders on business and technical outcomes
- 12Experience with tools such as Jira Azure DevOps Visio Lucidchart Confluence or similar documentation and delivery platforms
