Senior Business Analyst - Distribution Acumatica
Overview
Senior Business Analyst leading discovery and solution design for distribution and supply chain functionalities within the Vertrax Energy product team. This role bridges customers, product stakeholders, developers, and quality teams while ensuring scalability and alignment with business objectives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead analysis and discovery for complex business scenarios, customer pain points, and product requirements with customers and internal stakeholders
- 2Own design of new features including functional specifications and workflow documentation
- 3Assess business impact and integration risks recommending solutions while negotiating scope with stakeholders
- 4Decompose initiatives into technical user stories and coordinate implementation details
- 5Provide functional expertise across Acumatica distribution workflows including sales and warehousing
- 6Lead data flow analysis and integration requirements mapping between Acumatica and external systems
- 7Serve as senior functional partner to developers and QA teams reviewing deliverables and providing guidance
- 8Develop comprehensive test plans covering standard use and integration scenarios
- 9Lead functional readiness for UAT, releases, and post-go-live support addressing readiness risks
- 10Investigate escalated support issues and contribute to root-cause analysis
- 11Maintain product documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain IT or related field with 5+ years experience in ERP analysis or product consulting
- 24+ years experience in distribution domains including supply chain sales purchasing or warehousing
- 3Proven ability to lead requirements lifecycle from discovery through release
- 4Experience with Acumatica distribution workflows and integration with external systems
- 5Familiarity with fuel distribution logistics or related industry processes
- 6Skills in ERP integrations APIs SQL JSON or XML preferred
- 7Understanding of financial workflows fuel pricing freight management and tax reporting
- 8Experience in Agile environments using Jira Confluence or similar tools
- 9Ability to influence decisions and build relationships across technical and business teams
Salary Insight
$135 - $150k per year
