Overview
The Senior Business Data Analyst leads complex business system and data analytic assignments supporting departmental objectives while serving as a senior analytic and technical lead. This role drives technology roadmaps and ensures compliance with corporate architectural standards and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do14
- 1Collaborates with internal business and external vendor constituents to conduct analytic assignments in support of requested business solution(s)
- 2Creates a technology roadmap in support of a business strategy with business leadership across multiple departments
- 3Ensures requirements business rules and data standards are documented for requested solutions
- 4Develops design recommendations complying with corporate architectural standards and federal and state regulations
- 5Facilitates review of design with governing committees
- 6Plans and implements solution designs of significant scope and complexity
- 7Independently develops solutions including application or extract program code production reports and analytic findings
- 8Trains IT and business personnel on test strategies and executes test procedures
- 9Reports test results to project stakeholders
- 10Maintains core reference domain content via master data management tools
- 11Monitors dataset quality thresholds to identify content issues requiring resolution
- 12Initiates and manages data remediation projects to resolve prioritized issues
- 13Monitors production processes of information management solutions to achieve error-free performance
- 14Performs root cause analysis of identified issues through implementation and documentation of modifications
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Master’s degree preferred
- 3Minimum 5-7 years professional experience including 3 years in healthcare data warehouse environments
- 4Experience documenting requirements use cases and test cases
- 5Proficiency in Master Data Management
- 6Experience with Teradata and Oracle databases
- 7Advanced technical skills in SAS and SQL programming languages
- 8Understanding of data modeling principles
- 9Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- 10Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize concurrent tasks
- 11Excellent verbal and written communication skills
