Senior BI Developer, MicroStrategy & Data Warehousing
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of enterprise BI solutions using MicroStrategy for a major firm in Charlotte. You will work in a hybrid schedule, three days in the office and two days remote, as part of a data analytics team. You will build MicroStrategy reports and dashboards that drive business decisions at scale. This role offers a chance to modernize reporting infrastructure with star schema data warehouses and iPad dashboards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build interactive MicroStrategy dashboards for executive monitoring and operational analytics.
- 2Develop custom SQL queries for complex report building and data transformations.
- 3Design star schema data warehouses to support high-performance reporting.
- 4Architect MicroStrategy metadata and schema objects using Architect and Developer tools.
- 5Deploy reports across Web, Mobile, Office, and Command interfaces.
- 6Create iPad dashboards for mobile data access and real-time monitoring.
- 7Maintain version control of reports using Object Manager.
- 8Optimize report performance by tuning SQL and indexing strategies.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, plus 7+ years experience with MicroStrategy suite.
- 2Master's degree in a related field plus 5+ years experience alternatively accepted.
- 37+ years building reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy Architect, Developer, Web, Mobile, Office, Command, and System Manager.
- 47+ years writing custom SQL queries for report building and data transformations.
- 57+ years designing data warehouses using star schema architecture.
- 67+ years building iPad dashboards for data access and monitoring.
- 7Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder, no visa sponsorship available.
- 8Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
