What You'll Do11
- 1Design and develop automated assembly and packaging solutions for high-volume medical devices
- 2Specify select components and oversee installation commissioning and validation of advanced equipment
- 3Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects that enhance productivity and quality
- 4Manage IQ OQ FAT SAT and PQ activities for new technologies and technology transfers
- 5Coordinate with vendors to procure and integrate manufacturing lines aligned with business needs
- 6Analyze user requirements and create comprehensive automated solutions
- 7Implement machine design principles and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- 8Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal SOPs
- 9Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment
- 10Develop training materials and standard operating procedures
- 11Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on machine design experience
- 2Expertise in mechanical engineering including assembly technologies packaging and material selection
- 3Proven track record in process technologies such as ultrasonic welding heat transfer decoration hot stamping laser welding
- 4Strong knowledge of packaging methods including cartoning conveyor systems and sealing technologies
- 5Demonstrated ability to translate complex user requirements into automated solutions
- 6Experience managing multiple projects with attention to timelines and budgets
- 7Familiarity with CAD modeling software and statistical analysis tools like Minitab
- 8Understanding of safety standards including CE UL SCCR NFPA-70E and NFPA-79
- 9Commitment to effective communication and conflict resolution in diverse teams
- 10Experience with vendor management and technical collaboration across global locations
- 11Passion for working in a fast-paced medical device industry with regulatory expertise
