What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee day-to-day asset performance across build-to-rent communities
- 2Partner with property management to improve leasing and operational efficiency
- 3Review financials and variance reports to identify trends and recommend actions
- 4Lead budget review and approval with property management teams
- 5Support acquisitions dispositions and capital project execution
- 6Perform asset-level lender diligence and support debt financing processes
- 7Develop financial models for property performance evaluation
- 8Monitor capital projects to ensure alignment with strategy
- 9Prepare investment summaries and performance reports for leadership
- 10Stay current on market conditions and develop data-driven asset management frameworks
- 11Create demand-generation strategies and execute creative market positioning tactics
Requirements11
- 15–8 years real estate asset management experience with 3+ years dedicated asset management
- 2Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling
- 3Bachelor's degree in Finance Real Estate Business or related field
- 4Experience with residential asset classes especially build-to-rent
- 5Understanding of property operations leasing strategy and performance drivers
- 6Ability to build analytical frameworks and challenge intuition-based decisions
- 7Strong communication and organizational skills
- 8Willingness to travel to Southeast communities
- 9Direct experience with build-to-rent or institutional residential portfolios
- 10Familiarity with property management systems like Yardi or RealPage
- 11Interest in AI tools for real estate operations
