Senior Accountant, Intacct & GAAP Compliance
Overview
Own the month-end close and consolidated financial statements leveraging Intacct to drive accuracy at scale. Support intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis while partnering with multiple departments. Ensure GAAP adherence and prepare schedules for audits and management reviews. This role emphasizes process improvements, team onboarding, and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations during month-end close to deliver accurate financial statements
- 2Analyze general ledger activity and perform roll forwards to provide management with actionable insights
- 3Generate standard and non-standard reports from Intacct to resolve issues and support decision making
- 4Communicate with corporate and subsidiary teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure policy compliance
- 5Assist with internal and external audits by preparing timely supporting schedules and improving controls
- 6Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and governance within all responsibilities
- 7Assist with onboarding of new accounting team members and contribute to team development
- 8Handle ad hoc projects as necessary
- 9Support annual and monthly reporting deliverables with accuracy and urgency
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2Actively pursuing or holding CPA certification
- 32 to 4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience
- 4Working knowledge of GAAP
- 5Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Word
- 6Strong oral and written communication skills
- 7Ability to prioritize workloads and adapt to changing demands
- 8Highly organized with strong attention to detail and teamwork
- 9Willingness to work extended hours for monthly/yearly close and reporting
