Senior Accountant owns broad corporate accounting functions including general ledger management, monthly close, and software development cost accounting in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will partner with Finance leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance under US GAAP. This hybrid role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners and hands-on involvement in process improvements and internal controls. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage month end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis to ensure accurate financial statements
  • 2Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure consistency with US GAAP
  • 3Collaborate on accounting for internal-use software development costs including capitalized costs, amortization, and impairment at the project level
  • 4Assist Director of Revenue on commissions and other costs to obtain customer contracts under ASC 340-40 with capitalization and amortization
  • 5Utilize NetSuite to prepare workpapers and schedules for financial reporting and audit readiness
  • 6Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related schedules in US GAAP
  • 7Perform variance and trend analysis and escalate issues with solutions
  • 8Contribute to internal controls and SOX compliance documentation and support
  • 9Prepare materials for external audits and respond to auditor requests
  • 10Identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted improvements across accounting workflows

Requirements10

  • 13–5+ years of progressive accounting experience including monthly close
  • 2Strong Excel skills and ability to build detailed workpapers and schedules
  • 3Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to document technical conclusions
  • 4Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5Experience in SaaS or software industry with subscription revenue nuances
  • 6Experience with NetSuite and general ledger modules
  • 7CPA or active CPA candidate
  • 8Exposure to ASC 606 or ASC 718 and SOX compliance
  • 9Familiarity with FP&A collaboration and cost center reporting
  • 10Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a continuous improvement mindset
