Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Reporting
Overview
Lead the monthly global close and consolidation process at a large multinational organization. Drive improvements in reporting controls and processes while collaborating with cross functional teams. Transform consolidation functions through project involvement and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare and analyze accounting records financial statements and other reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- 2Collaborate globally to develop financial information supporting internal and external reporting needs
- 3Create FCCS modules and evaluate Oracle and FCCS rule impacts for accounting implementations
- 4Review intercompany balances and reconcile them to enhance control effectiveness
- 5Prepare topside journal entries intercompany eliminations and investment eliminations
- 6Support acquisitions divestitures and internal reorganizations through detailed financial analysis
- 7Represent Medline interests in partnerships with FP&A tax treasury and external stakeholders
- 8Implement GAAP knowledge and intermediate Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
- 9Handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong analytical capabilities
- 10Work with large datasets and complex consolidation structures across multiple legal entities
- 11Utilize Tagetik Oracle EPM BPC and Alteryx Tableau for data processing and visualization
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or business
- 2At least 2 years accounting experience focusing on reporting consolidations or technical accounting
- 3Intermediate Excel proficiency including index match pivot tables and multiple if statements
- 4Strong analytical abilities and ability to manage concurrent projects
- 5Experience with consolidation systems and accounting practices controls
- 6CPA certification preferred
- 7Public company SEC reporting experience or work with listed clients
- 8Global manufacturing distribution background
- 9Advanced knowledge of accounting controls and enterprise systems
- 10Familiarity with cash flow statement preparation review
- 11Cross-functional collaboration experience
