What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee all security functions including staffing scheduling and training
- 2Ensure contract-required training and screening elements are met
- 3Maintain overtime within designated limits
- 4Ensure service quality and contract compliance through regular inspections
- 5Perform other operations such as payroll and incident report reviews
- 6Make recommendations for personnel actions and productivity improvements
- 7Respond to client requests and issue emergency notifications
- 8Provide direction and instruction to subordinates
- 9Make recommendations for security surveys and post orders
- 10Advise on disciplinary actions and commendations
- 11Drive cost reduction initiatives
Requirements12
- 1Law Enforcement Officer License or 5+ years armed security experience
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3State-required training passed
- 4Minimum age 18 unless state requires 21 for armed roles
- 5One or more of military service reserves National Guard Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- 6At least one year supervisory experience in security field
- 7Associates degree or higher preferred
- 8Physical ability to operate radio telephone equipment and monitor consoles
- 9Effective oral and written communication skills
- 10Active listening and problem solving abilities
- 11Ability to mediate conflicts tactfully
- 12Teamwork and attention to detail
