Security Operations Investigator Fulton Clerk of Superior & Magistrate Courts
Overview
The Security Operations Investigator leads security initiatives ensuring safe environments across Fulton County Clerk facilities. This onsite role requires daily presence Monday through Friday supporting risk mitigation and threat assessment while coordinating with law enforcement partners.
What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain visible on-site security presence during regular business hours
- 2Monitor facilities staff areas and public access points to identify safety concerns
- 3Conduct periodic physical security assessments of facilities and operational procedures
- 4Develop and recommend security protocols emergency response procedures and access-control measures
- 5Assess and document potential threats or suspicious activity providing risk mitigation recommendations
- 6Respond to security-related incidents preparing detailed written reports
- 7Coordinate with Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies as required
- 8Review security footage assisting with investigative follow-up related to safety concerns
- 9Provide security advisories and situational awareness briefings to leadership
- 10Support security planning and presence during official meetings public events and special functions
- 11Ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local laws and county policies
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Criminology Public Safety or related field with minimum three years of experience in law enforcement investigations or security operations five years preferred
- 2Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- 3Active Georgia POST Certification in good standing
- 4Eligibility to be sworn in by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office
- 5Must maintain POST certification and any required qualifications throughout employment
- 6Knowledge of criminal laws investigative techniques and threat assessment principles
- 7Understanding of facility and workplace security practices
- 8Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately in dynamic environments
- 9Strong written documentation and reporting skills
- 10Professional communication and coordination abilities
- 11High degree of discretion and confidentiality

$65 - $75k per year
