What You'll Do10
- 1Build professional relationships with passengers, visitors, and staff while following site procedures
- 2Perform regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities and perimeter areas to identify and report security concerns
- 3Monitor access points and public areas and document incidents with clear reports
- 4Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and emergencies using established protocols
- 5Maintain an orderly environment and provide visible security presence to deter incidents
- 6Support access control and badge procedures at transit locations
- 7Communicate effectively with the public and site personnel to enhance safety
- 8Utilize tablet devices to log activities and complete documentation accurately
- 9Coordinate with emergency services and supervisors as needed
- 10Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on integrity and service
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles 21+ for armed roles
- 3Comfortable using a computer or tablet
- 4Customer service experience preferred
- 5Access control and badge experience preferred
- 6Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 7Must meet state and local licensing requirements if applicable
- 8Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- 9Ability to work daytime and overnight shifts including weekends
