Overview
You will own the supervision of a security shift at a client site in Columbus, Ohio. You will coordinate the delivery of quality services for a full-time, unarmed post, reporting to the site supervisor and Account Manager. You will coach, recognize, and discipline officers within your empowerment range. You will act as the liaison between officers and management, ensuring operational excellence. What You'll Do10
- 1Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on your assigned shift.
- 2Act as the primary liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and security officers.
- 3Coach, recognize, and discipline officers within the approved empowerment range.
- 4Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting, documenting incidents and shifts.
- 5Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions to ensure compliance.
- 6Handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently, applying judgment within guidelines.
- 7Display exceptional customer service and communication skills when interacting with personnel and the public.
- 8Utilize innovative wireless technology and intermediate computer skills at client-specific sites.
- 9Ensure all officers on your shift meet performance standards and follow post orders.
- 10Enforce company policies and safety protocols, reporting any violations or issues promptly.
Requirements10
- 118+ years of age or older.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years of verifiable experience.
- 3Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- 4Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public professionally.
- 5Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- 6Frequent preparation of written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
- 7Must meet licensing requirements per state and local laws.
- 8Valid driver's license with 1+ year driving experience and clean driving record.
- 9Successful completion of background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
- 10Intermediate computer skills for wireless technology at client sites.
