Security Officer Retail Store
Overview
You will serve and safeguard clients in retail environments, including luxury retail locations, as a part-time unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming experience for guests and team members. What You'll Do5
- 1Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and retail team members while executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
- 2Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the luxury retail location, covering sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter, to identify and report unusual activity.
- 3Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor behavior to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
- 4Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating issues per site procedures.
- 5Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate key information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements7
- 1Loss prevention experience preferred.
- 2Customer service experience preferred.
- 3Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- 4Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5Pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
- 6Meet state and local licensing requirements for security officers.
- 7A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
