Overview
You will own loss prevention patrol at a luxury retail site in Austin, Texas, deterring theft and ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do7
- 1Patrol the sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter on a fixed schedule, deterring unauthorized activity with a visible presence.
- 2Respond to incidents, suspicious behavior, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving action, following site procedures and notifying the appropriate authorities.
- 3Monitor access points and observe customer behavior, maintaining a professional demeanor in a high-end retail setting.
- 4Document security observations, incident reports, and patrol logs accurately and promptly using digital tools.
- 5Provide customer service to clients and retail staff, answering questions and guiding visitors as part of the security function.
- 6Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement during critical situations, ensuring coordinated response.
- 7Claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain cross-site experience.
Requirements7
- 118+ years of age for unarmed security roles.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Customer service experience is preferred.
- 4Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- 5Valid driver's license for driving positions.
- 6Pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
- 7Meet state and local licensing requirements for security officers.
