Overview
You will own perimeter patrol and access control at a designated San Jose site, working fixed weekend shifts with the option to claim extra shifts. What You'll Do8
- 1Patrol market location, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity, using driver's license and company vehicle.
- 2Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, solving problems and escalating per site procedures.
- 3Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and staff, enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.
- 4Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
- 5Control access for vendors and deliveries, managing crowd flow and entry points.
- 6Conduct random unarmed patrols on foot and by vehicle, adjusting routes to cover high-risk zones.
- 7Document patrol findings and incidents in security reporting systems, ensuring accurate logs.
- 8Support emergency response activities, including evacuation and lockdown procedures.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old for unarmed security roles.
- 2Valid driver's license in state of employment required.
- 3Guard card or security license preferred.
- 4CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Pass background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
- 7Commit to fixed shift for 6 months with weekend availability.
- 8Ability to work part-time hours with option to claim additional shifts up to 40 hours per week.
