Security Officer Part Time Enhanced - Unarmed Access Control
Overview
The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time role provides fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. You will support a commercial building in New York, NY, through unarmed access control, patrols, and exceptional customer service. You will work on a flexible schedule with potential movement toward a full-time arrangement up to 40 hours per week. What You'll Do6
- 1Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site procedures and responding to emergencies when needed
- 2Conduct unarmed patrols of building interiors and exterior perimeters to deter unauthorized activity
- 3Monitor access points and document visitor and delivery activity according to procedures
- 4Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel
- 5Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site management and leadership
- 6Assist with emergency response per site protocols when required
Requirements10
- 1Be at least 21 years old
- 2Guard card/license preferred
- 3Customer service experience preferred
- 4Access control/badge experience preferred
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Background check required
- 7Drug screen required where permitted by law
- 8Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- 9Must meet state/local licensing requirements
- 10Criminal history considered in accordance with laws
