Security Officer Part Time Enhanced Patrol Houston
Overview
Security personnel provide on-site protection and customer service at government facilities on a part-time basis. You will work fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform. This role emphasizes reliable hours, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to progress toward full-time hours. You will join a collaborative team focused on safety and community impact.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to visitors and staff while following site procedures
- 2Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate authorities as directed
- 3Conduct unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entry points to deter unauthorized access
- 4Monitor access points and document irregularities and incidents
- 5Prepare clear activity reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel and leadership
Requirements6
- 1Minimum of 6 months of security experience
- 2Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Background check in accordance with laws
- 5Drug screen as permitted by law
- 6Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
