What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform regular interior, exterior, and perimeter patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
- 2Monitor access points, verify credentials, and enforce building access protocols while maintaining a professional demeanor
- 3Respond calmly to incidents and tenant concerns, escalating according to site procedures when necessary
- 4Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs to ensure accurate situational awareness
- 5Provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors and support a welcoming environment for all
- 6Utilize site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as required
- 7Maintain a visible presence during overnight shifts to deter security-related incidents
- 8Communicate security information clearly to teammates and site leadership to coordinate responses
- 9Adhere to all licensing, licensing renewal, and background check requirements as mandated by law
- 10Operate in alignment with Allied Universal safety protocols and client policies
Requirements10
- 1Possess a New York State Security Guard License
- 2Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
- 3Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 4Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law
- 5Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- 6Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM schedule
- 7Commitment to customer service and professional communication standards
- 8Ability to stand, patrol, and respond to incidents for extended periods
- 9Access to reliable transportation as needed for shifts and emergencies
- 10Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
