What You'll Do9
- 1Build patrols of designated areas, on foot or vehicle, and monitor for irregular or unusual conditions
- 2Watch for security concerns or safety hazards and respond by following site post orders
- 3Sound alarms or notify police or fire department when required and warn violators of infractions
- 4Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances and exits to protect client property
- 5Observe departures to prevent theft and ensure compliant property removal
- 6Investigate incidents and prepare written reports and maintain logs
- 7Aid customers, employees, and visitors with professional communication
- 8Make emergency notifications as required by site post orders
- 9Prepare and maintain documentation for accidents and incidents
Requirements9
- 1Active CA Guard Card
- 2Level 1 Certificate Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force
- 3Intermediate to advanced technology skills
- 4High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience
- 5Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle
- 6Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 718 years of age or older (21 if armed)
- 8Ability to operate radio/console equipment
- 9Strong oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
