Security Officer, Corporate Floater/Per Diem
Overview
You will own security operations across a corporate office complex in Boston, patrolling buildings and parking areas to prevent theft and ensure safety. You will manage access control, monitor entrances and exits, and provide high-level customer service to clients and visitors. This role demands a proactive, professional presence and comfort with technology, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. What You'll Do8
- 1Patrol buildings and parking areas on foot, identifying unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas to prevent theft, injuries, or damages.
- 2Manage access control, monitoring entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- 3Attend the front desk, greet customers and visitors, and provide a high level of customer service in a polite and professional manner.
- 4Type quickly to process visitors and employees efficiently using multiple software and applications.
- 5Maintain a positive image in dress and decorum, projecting professionalism at all times.
- 6Maintain regular, consistent attendance, and report to assigned sites as required.
- 7Adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, and orders, and interact with guests and employees in a professional manner.
- 8Write detailed case reports documenting incidents and observations clearly and concisely.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years of customer service experience preferred
- 3Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to speak clearly and concisely
- 4Proficient with technology, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 5Ability to type quickly to process visitors and employees
- 6Ability to stand for long periods of time and conduct foot patrols frequently
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in providing detailed case reports
- 8Ability to multi-task and self-manage in a dynamic environment
