Security Officer, Casino & Surveillance
Overview
The Security Officer will protect patrons and property at a Las Vegas casino environment with on-site duties. They will monitor surveillance, respond to calls, and document incidents. The role works with a team to ensure safety and compliance in a high-traffic setting. This position offers hands-on security experience in a regulated hospitality environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build awareness of floor conditions and safety risks to deter incidents
- 2Respond to security calls promptly and document outcomes with detailed reports
- 3Maintain surveillance of casino floor and surrounding areas to ensure compliance
- 4Assist with injuries or medical incidents and coordinate with responders
- 5Observe and intervene with individuals suspected of illegal activity and disturbances
- 6Transact monetary exchanges in compliance with regulations as required
- 7Prepare incident reports with factual summaries for investigations
- 8Support drop team members and other security staff as needed
- 9Perform other job related duties as assigned
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Prior Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience preferred
- 3Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- 4At least 21 years of age
- 5Have reliable transportation
- 6Ability to stand for long periods
- 7Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- 8Ability to be flexible with hours
