Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver, NY Transit
Overview
Protect and assist passengers and staff in a government transportation site as a part time mobile patrol driver. What You'll Do5
- 1Build customer service by assisting passengers, employees, and visitors and enforcing site policies
- 2Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities, bus areas, entrances, parking, and perimeters to deter incidents
- 3Respond calmly to incidents, service disruptions, and emergencies following reporting and escalation procedures
- 4Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations with accurate documentation
- 5Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd management during normal operations and events
Requirements6
- 1A New York State Security Guard License is required
- 2At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
- 3A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy
- 4Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law
