Security GSOC Flex Officer, Security Operations & Monitoring
Overview
Own GSOC operations at a technology site with adaptable shifts and hands on security leadership at scale. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across multiple sites and industries. You will collaborate with a broad team of security professionals to maintain safety, integrity, and resilience in dynamic environments. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and patrol designated areas on foot or in vehicle to deter incidents
- 2Detect irregular conditions and communicate risk levels to appropriate teams
- 3Trigger alarms or notify police or fire departments during emergencies
- 4Warn violators and enforce access control per client requirements
- 5Monitor entrances exits and safeguard company property through controlled removal
- 6Investigate incidents and prepare reports to logs and post orders
- 7Assist customers, employees, and visitors with professional guidance
- 8Conduct emergency notifications and coordinate with site leadership
- 9Prepare written analyses of accidents and suspicious activities
- 10Maintain situational awareness through comprehensive post orders and procedures
Requirements10
- 15+ years of GSOC experience at a technology site or equivalent military law enforcement or emergency operations center background
- 2Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent GSOC/security operations experience
- 3Ability to work flexible shifts including irregular hours and short notice
- 4Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 5Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service orientation
- 7Ability to operate radio and console monitoring equipment
- 8Demonstrated teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different posts
- 9Proficiency in assessing risks from security threats including crime protests geopolitical instability natural disasters
- 10Preferred multilingual capabilities and prior security or law enforcement experience rating highly
