What You'll Do8
- 1Prosecute securities class actions through the full lifecycle, from complaint to resolution, handling all phases of litigation.
- 2Draft briefs, motions, and legal arguments with precision, turning complex facts into persuasive claims.
- 3Develop creative legal theories to challenge defense positions and advance investor claims.
- 4Collaborate with partners on case strategy, contributing as a key team member in high-stakes matters.
- 5Conduct deep research on evolving securities case law and apply it to active cases.
- 6Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and argue motions in court.
- 7Work with expert witnesses to build financial and economic analyses supporting claims.
- 8Manage document reviews and coordinate with co-counsel and local counsel.
Requirements8
- 13-4+ years of securities litigation experience, defense-side experience encouraged.
- 2Exceptional brief writing skills, with a portfolio of complex motions and appellate briefs.
- 3Strong analytical ability to craft novel legal arguments under pressure.
- 4Genuine interest in plaintiff-side work representing institutional investors.
- 5Stable employment history and high-caliber firm background preferred.
- 6Admission to the Massachusetts or California bar, with eligibility for reciprocity.
- 7Experience with class action procedures and federal court litigation.
- 8Ability to work hybrid schedule (Tue/Wed/Thu) in Boston or San Francisco.
Salary Insight
$160 - $220k per year
