Seasonal Stock Associate, Retail Inventory
Overview
You own inventory flow in a high-volume UGG store, from receiving shipments to replenishing the sales floor. This seasonal role partners with the Stock Lead to keep back-of-house organized and accurate. You manage stock processes, handle discrepancies, and prepare merchandise transfers. Working directly with customers during floor shifts, you deliver the personalized service UGG is known for. The role demands precision and adaptability in a fast-moving retail environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Receive shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and log inventory into the system.
- 2Organize stock in the back room to maximize space and ensure safe, efficient retrieval.
- 3Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for transfer between stores or distribution centers.
- 4Replenish sales floor displays to match visual merchandising standards.
- 5Greet customers, direct them to products, and answer questions using current product knowledge.
- 6Handle damaged or mis-mate inventory per company procedures to keep counts accurate.
- 7Follow all stock policies and security measures to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment.
- 8Report discrepancies to the Stock Lead or management to keep inventory systems current.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of retail stock or inventory experience preferred.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 4Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 6Valid driver's license for occasional errands or transfers.
- 7Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- 8Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
