You will own the customer experience at Michaels Stores in Dallas, Texas, from greeting shoppers to checkout and everything in between. As a Seasonal Service Team Member, you handle store recovery, truck unloading, and BOPIS and SFS processes in a high-volume retail setting. You will work with POGs, SISO, and AD sets to keep shelves stocked and displays inviting. What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers and help them locate products, offering solutions for their creative projects.
- 2Execute a fast and friendly checkout experience, handling cash and transactions accurately.
- 3Enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards during each interaction.
- 4Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey to gather feedback.
- 5Process BOPIS and SFS orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and staging.
- 6Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain POGs to planogram standards.
- 7Complete store recovery, including returns, go-backs, and general maintenance to keep the store shoppable.
- 8Perform SISO and AD set duties as assigned, optimizing inventory on shelves.
- 9Support shrink and safety programs by following SOPs and company policies.
- 10Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production to assist when needed.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
- 2Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
- 3Comfort with bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching regularly.
- 4Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
- 5Must be at least 16 years old per company policy.
- 6Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail setting.
- 7Flexibility to work in climate-controlled sales floors and non-climate-controlled stock rooms.
- 8Willingness to perform outdoor tasks like retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
