What You'll Do6
- 1Prepare the Operating Room with all necessary supplies for each surgical procedure.
- 2Sterilize required instruments and supplies to meet infection control standards.
- 3Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgeons during operations.
- 4Serve as a surgical assistant when needed, supporting the surgical team.
- 5Maintain order in the Operating Room and restock supplies as needed.
- 6Assist in providing safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care.
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 2Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible.
- 31 year of hospital Operating Room experience preferred.
- 4Ability to work rotating shifts (days and nights) on a variable part-time basis.
- 5Availability for weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
