Overview
Lead technical support in the operating room at Mercy Medical Center Baltimore. Own first scrub responsibilities across specialties and contribute to patient-centered care. - 7Accurately perform sponge needle and instrument counts per departmental standards
- 8Execute surgical assistant tasks as needed based on team requirements
- 9Follow organizational safety guidelines and report hazards immediately
- 10Maintain technical proficiency and adapt to evolving surgical techniques
- 11Collaborate constructively with nursing leadership on work assignments
Requirements5
- 1Minimum one year experience as Surgical Technologist Patient Care Tech CNA or Paramedic
- 2Graduate degree or equivalent experience from a Surgical Technology program
- 3Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- 4Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- 5Strong communication skills for effective teamwork across medical disciplines
