What You'll Do10
- 1Support program activities by reviewing and filing scientific water quality reports
- 2Enter data and maintain document archives for scientific files
- 3Prepare public-facing informational mailing notices and distribute technical documents
- 4Assist with file inventory management and document organization tasks
- 5Answer routine scientific inquiries via phone
- 6Review technical reports extract key information and populate databases
- 7Help develop routine scientific reports and enforcement documentation
- 8Participate in site inspections and field sampling activities
- 9Document water quality violations and support enforcement actions
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 5+ years experience building scientific data pipelines
- 2Proficiency with Python and AWS services
- 3Certification in BCBA or related scientific credential
- 4Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team settings
- 5Valid driver’s license for potential field assignments
- 6Residency in California required upon hire
- 7Education verified through recognized credential evaluation service
- 8Strong analytical skills with experience in GIS and data science
- 9Understanding of environmental regulations and water quality principles
- 10Excellent written communication abilities for technical documentation
