School Psychologist, K-12 Evaluations & IEP
Overview
You will own psychological evaluations and IEP support for a K-12 caseload in Saint Paul, MN, with 3-5 years of school-based experience preferred. You will join a collaborative team of educators and specialists, reporting to the district's special education coordinator. What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services under IDEA
- 2Write comprehensive evaluation reports within district timelines, documenting strengths and needs
- 3Lead IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to align goals with student data
- 4Advise teachers and families on evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions
- 5Provide crisis intervention and counseling support for students in need
- 6Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- 7Interpret assessment results and present actionable recommendations to support student success
- 8Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports within established timelines
- 9Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements8
- 1Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- 2Valid Minnesota PELSB School Psychologist license
- 3Completion of supervised internship in school psychology
- 4Knowledge of IDEA, special education evaluation procedures, and eligibility determination
- 52+ years conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
- 6Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- 7Successful completion of background screening and district onboarding
- 8Previous school-based experience preferred
