Overview

You will own psychological evaluations and IEP support for a K-12 caseload in Saint Paul, MN, with 3-5 years of school-based experience preferred. You will join a collaborative team of educators and specialists, reporting to the district's special education coordinator. What You'll Do9

  • 1Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services under IDEA
  • 2Write comprehensive evaluation reports within district timelines, documenting strengths and needs
  • 3Lead IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to align goals with student data
  • 4Advise teachers and families on evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions
  • 5Provide crisis intervention and counseling support for students in need
  • 6Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • 7Interpret assessment results and present actionable recommendations to support student success
  • 8Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports within established timelines
  • 9Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements8

  • 1Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • 2Valid Minnesota PELSB School Psychologist license
  • 3Completion of supervised internship in school psychology
  • 4Knowledge of IDEA, special education evaluation procedures, and eligibility determination
  • 52+ years conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
  • 6Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • 7Successful completion of background screening and district onboarding
  • 8Previous school-based experience preferred
