What You'll Do10
- 1Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
- 2Complete psychological assessments evaluation reports and required documentation
- 3Participate in Individualized Education Program IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- 4Provide consultation and support to teachers administrators and families regarding student academic behavioral and social-emotional needs
- 5Assist with the development and implementation of intervention strategies and behavioral supports
- 6Support students through counseling crisis intervention and social-emotional learning strategies as appropriate
- 7Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- 8Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
- 9Maintain accurate records and complete required reports within established timelines
- 10Promote a safe supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements9
- 1Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- 2Valid Colorado School Psychologist license/authorization through the Colorado Department of Education CDE
- 3Completion of an approved school psychology preparation program
- 4Completion of required supervised internship experience in school psychology
- 5Knowledge of IDEA special education evaluation procedures and eligibility determination processes
- 6Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
- 7Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
- 8Ability to work effectively with students families educators and multidisciplinary teams
- 9Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
