Travel or Local School Psychologist | Full Time | Full School Year. BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school-based team in Aurora, Colorado. What You'll Do10

  • 1Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
  • 2Complete psychological assessments evaluation reports and required documentation
  • 3Participate in Individualized Education Program IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • 4Provide consultation and support to teachers administrators and families regarding student academic behavioral and social-emotional needs
  • 5Assist with the development and implementation of intervention strategies and behavioral supports
  • 6Support students through counseling crisis intervention and social-emotional learning strategies as appropriate
  • 7Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • 8Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
  • 9Maintain accurate records and complete required reports within established timelines
  • 10Promote a safe supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements9

  • 1Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • 2Valid Colorado School Psychologist license/authorization through the Colorado Department of Education CDE
  • 3Completion of an approved school psychology preparation program
  • 4Completion of required supervised internship experience in school psychology
  • 5Knowledge of IDEA special education evaluation procedures and eligibility determination processes
  • 6Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
  • 7Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
  • 8Ability to work effectively with students families educators and multidisciplinary teams
  • 9Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
