Overview
You will own the full operation of a growing Montessori academy in Lavon, Texas, driving enrollment and family retention. You will lead a team of educators and staff, ensuring high-quality early childhood programs and state compliance. This role balances daily operations with strategic growth, reporting to a supportive leadership team. You will have the autonomy to shape the school's culture and customer experience. The role demands hands-on leadership, from classroom coverage to financial oversight.
What You'll Do10

- 6Coach teaching staff to ensure high-quality classroom environments and child-centered learning
- 7Implement developmentally appropriate practices aligned with early childhood best practices
- 8Step into any role when needed to cover staffing gaps
- 9Foster a collaborative and professional team culture
- 10Own the school's budget, monitoring expenses and revenue targets
Requirements9
- 12+ years of childcare management or director experience
- 2Strong background in early childhood education
- 3Proven ability to increase enrollment and retention
- 4Experience with budgeting and financial oversight
- 5Strong organizational and communication skills
- 6Familiarity with childcare management systems like Brightwheel
- 7Knowledge of state licensing regulations
- 8Montessori experience preferred but not required
- 9Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required
