School Cook - Substitute Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities
Overview
The substitute cook will own meal preparation and support operations across multiple locations. This role drives daily kitchen execution and ensures compliance with health standards.
What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare main dishes salads dressings breads and special menu items following recipes
- 2Operate standard ovens stoves food processors slicers and dishwashing equipment
- 3Portion food in compliance with school meal program guidelines
- 4Set up and serve food lines assist in setting up and serving food lines
- 5Clean and maintain kitchen storage freezers and refrigerators to meet cleanliness standards
- 6Document nutrition data meals served purchasing contracts and freereduced meal information for audits
- 7Collaborate with food service staff teachers and students for meal preparation and school events
- 8Support compliance with Oregon Department of Education reporting and inspection requirements
- 9Perform general cleaning and other duties as assigned
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Proficiency in food preparation and adhering to sanitation standards
- 4Experience managing inventory and operating kitchen equipment
- 5Ability to follow recipes and control portion sizes
- 6Strong communication and teamwork skills
