Overview

You will deliver 1:1 ABA support to students with autism in school settings in San Francisco. Working with educators and caregivers, you'll implement BIPs and skill programs aligned with IEP goals. This role integrates into the school day, Monday-Friday, with paid administrative time and travel between sites. You'll grow your clinical skills with BCAT or RBT certification, part of Cortica's integrated care model.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Implement ABA programs and behavioral interventions for students one-on-one and in groups, following BCAT protocols.
  • 2Build and maintain strong rapport with students, using strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
  • 3Collect data on student progress and behaviors each session, documenting notes and incident reports.
  • 4Collaborate with teachers and school staff to embed behavioral strategies into daily routines.
  • 5Support students in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care tasks like toileting and hygiene.
  • 6Implement proactive behavior support and follow crisis protocols, including de-escalation and reporting.
  • 7Travel between assigned school sites within the service area, maintaining reliable transportation.
  • 8Participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and school-based trainings for continuous improvement.

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2Obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of hire, where required.
  • 3Obtain safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
  • 4First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
  • 5Tuberculosis (TB) clearance before start.
  • 6Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between work locations.
