You will interact with patients payers and providers to ensure accurate scheduling and seamless experiences.
What You'll Do11
- 1Interact with patients payers and providers to gather registration information assign MRN schedule referrals and collect documents
- 2Respond to billing inquiries regarding payments and policies
- 3Mentor staff on departmental procedures
- 4Accurately schedule and reschedule complex procedures following practice guidelines
- 5Enter insurance information initiate authorizations and maintain documentation of patient communications
- 6Manage patient check in and check out processes including verification and form completion
- 7Identify urgent needs and escalate appropriately
- 8Display proactive customer service by listening to patients and taking ownership of solutions
- 9Maintain detailed daily reporting and payment reconciliation
- 10Utilize Epic for scheduling tasks
- 11Adapt prioritize and meet deadlines under high volume
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Excellent mathematical skills handling monetary transactions
- 3Strong communication and customer service abilities
- 4Proven organizational and analytical capabilities
- 5Knowledge of medical terminology insurance billing and ACA requirements
- 6Familiarity with DRG systems ICD9ICD10 codes and CPT/HCPC Codes and Modifiers
- 72+ years experience in customer service or healthcare administration
- 8Previous scheduling experience preferred
- 9Ability to learn Epic scheduling systems quickly
- 10Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
