What You'll Do8

  • 1Audit shelf prices against store systems to catch and correct mismatches within 24 hours.
  • 2Verify and update shelf tags for accuracy, using Excel to track changes and flag irregularities.
  • 3Resolve pricing discrepancies with department leads, store leadership, and vendors, driving quick fixes.
  • 4Maintain promotional signage and ensure ad execution matches current offers, replacing outdated tags before ads go live.
  • 5Troubleshoot pricing issues at the register or on the floor, using store systems to investigate and correct errors.
  • 6Collaborate with department teams to align tag updates with inventory and planogram changes.
  • 7Support weekly ad execution by checking tag accuracy and signage placement ahead of the ad changeover.
  • 8Train new associates on tag standards and price-check procedures, reinforcing accuracy habits.

Requirements8

  • 11+ years in retail or a similar customer-facing role, with exposure to price auditing or inventory control.
  • 2Comfort using store systems and scanning tools, plus basic Excel skills for data entry and reporting.
  • 3Strong attention to detail, verified by experience catching pricing errors or reconciling discrepancies.
  • 4Problem-solving ability to identify root causes of pricing mismatches and implement corrective actions.
  • 5Communication skills to coordinate with department leads and vendors, ensuring pricing consistency storewide.
  • 6Organizational skills to manage signage schedules and tag update timelines, meeting ad deadlines.
  • 7Customer service orientation with a friendly, helpful approach to shopper interactions.
