SAP Programmer Analyst III - ABAP FI/CO
Overview
You will design, develop, and support SAP solutions across Finance (FI/CO), SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Workflow for Fairfax County Government, impacting a budget of over $100M. You'll collaborate with Finance and IT teams to deliver technical solutions that improve financial operations. This role stands out for its hybrid telework policy (up to 60%) and exposure to S/4HANA and modern integration tools.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and enhance ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms in FI/CO and SRM.
- 2Build and maintain OData services, CDS views, and Object-Oriented ABAP solutions.
- 3Design and monitor cloud-based integrations using SAP Integration Suite and PO.
- 4Configure and troubleshoot SAP Business Workflows for Finance and Procurement.
- 5Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP solutions.
- 6Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into SAP technical designs.
- 7Support financial month-end, year-end, and audit processes with SAP enhancements.
- 8Optimize approval workflows and integration performance in SAP.
Requirements8
- 13+ years programming/analysis experience in a complex information systems environment.
- 25+ years hands-on SAP ABAP development in FI/CO and SRM.
- 33+ years experience with S/4HANA, ABAP RESTful Programming Model, CDS, and Fiori.
- 43+ years experience in SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting.
- 5Experience with SAP Finance and Logistics modules.
- 6Experience with modern integration tools: API Management, Event Mesh.
- 7Knowledge of SAP Security, Roles, and Authorizations.
- 8Familiarity with Agile/DevOps tools: Solution Manager, Jira, Azure DevOps.
